If you were Suwei Hsieh (謝淑薇), which will you choose: go to China or stay in Taiwan for the tennis career?

I will choose to go to China if I were Suwei Hsieh(謝淑薇). I'm a Taiwanese citizen, and I do love this beautiful country, though it has been a big problem for many athletes and players in Taiwan. We know that in early days the authorities put lots of efforts on training the sportsmen and sportswomen to get achievements in international competitions, but in the near decades, as far as I concerned, not only the attitudes towards government but also the public did they pay less attention on these players. Most of them merely focus on the result of the game but care less on the training process which is the foundation for players and athletes to get good performance.

Meanwhile, China does his utmost to train sportsmen and sportswomen when they were little and young, and the China government is willing to invest good players in a appreciable payment and provide them good training environments which are the least a well-performing player can get in Taiwan in order to get medals in the great races and contests.

Although China is a communistic country, people may have less freedom in many aspects, but the authority’s attitude to the sports and the tournaments is creditable, especially for the players’ sport careers. And these are the reasons I will choose to play the tennis for China if I were her.
